An interesting place for all fans of Urbex (Urban Exploration) and decaying buildings.

Has a lot of history which is interesting to know, but there's not much to do at the builiding

I actually drove all the way from Bucharest to see this. Three tour busses drove by only to stop at the fortress wall nearby. I found this on Atlas Obscura and hope to come back to see more interesting places in Bulgaria.

Authentic but abandoned.

A ruin and abandoned structure, that is not really more than an interesting walk by. However if you are game to jump the fence, the view inside is quite amazing. This structure is probably not safe to explore, but and interesting structure to see... let's hope they do something with it soon.
