Such a waste of money. Design wise is awesome, located right infront of regency head office, but poorly managed and maintained.its still closed for public and now used by local seller to sleep, store their stuff, etc.

This brand new monument will become one of iconic landmarks in Merauke. This place was under development when we visited in December 2018. However, the design of the monument is modern and unique. It is definitely a good place if you want to spend a bit of your morning time for jogging. You also could see planes take off from a very close distance as this monument is just next to the Mopah airport.

This is going to be a fantastic place! Big open space, some retail shopfront. Nice design... It is going to be officially opened by Mr Jokowi on the 5th of October 2018.
