The Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) is a change from the Faculty of Tarbiyah. The Tarbiyah Faculty was founded in 1988 with the Da'wah Faculty and is a pioneering faculty in the UNSIQ environment. In the early establishment of the Tarbiyah Faculty, the Islamic Education Study Program (PAI) was opened, based on the Central Java Region X Kopertais Recommendation Number 110 / Kep.X / A / VIII / 88, then the Operational Permit Decree of the Director General of Institutional Development (Dirjen Binbaga) RI Ministry of Religion Number : EP / PP.03.2 / K / 1771/89.nnThe name change from the Faculty of Tarbiyah to FITK occurred in 2006 with the intention of accommodating religious study programs and general study programs at the same time. This was done after the issuance of the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education regarding Physics Education Study Program Operational Permits. Then in 2007 opened the PGMI Study Program (S-1). Thus, currently FITK is in two coaching areas at once, namely under the Kopertais Region X in Central Java for the PAI Study Program and PGMI Study Program, and Kopertis Region VI in Central Java for the Physics Education Study Program.nNow the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training has 5 study programs, namely:nn1.
