This house was where Bung Syahrir was exiled in the area of ​​Central Maluku, Banda. It is one of the historical places that must be visited while in Banda. The location of this house of seclusion is not far from the Port. Located on a side street, adjacent to the Banda Neira Cultural House. The building still stands firm, neatly and clean.

This house is where brother Syahrir lived after being exiled. Sutan Syahrir, Indonesia's first Prime Minister (PM), was exiled to Banda Island from 1936-1942. Bung Sjahrir's House of Exile has many memories in the form of photographs and typewriters left by Bung Syahrir.
