Delfika 1 Guesthouse / Cafe

Really nice place, located on one of the main streets of Naira. I like their pancake with nutmeg jam. Price is reasonably cheap

Lovely guesthouse with a nice garden in the patio. Great atmosphere in the ancient dutch house. Simple breakfast. You should try to order in advance what you like. The restaurant is good okay. Everything will be fresh cooked. Rooms and bathrooms a bit old. Time for renovation. Only the mosque nearby will make you wake up early to enjoy the day.

We staid at Delfika 1, for 6 weeks in November and December 2019. As for a remote guesthouse it was excellent. The owner was always there to see to our needs. Breakfast was way above anything else on the Island.

The restaurant is really good, everything is fresh and tasty, the nice garden in the old mansion inner yard is just perfect. Make sure you try the grilled fish (has to be ordered in advance, looks exactly like the picture in the menu), the eggplants with kenari sauce and the nutmeg pancakes.nnThe guesthouse is great, rooms are clean and comfortable. Bahri, the owner, was of great help in organizing transport and trips. We stayed for a week and if coming back to Banda Neira would definitely stay there again.

Been here last couple of weeks for around a week and I did enjoy my stay here. The pancake needs to be upgraded but the nasi goreng was really good!!! The room was spacious and the decoration around is fascinating and that's what makes this place unique.
