The resorts seem to look nice. In rooms are quite big and quite clean. Meals were delicious, you wont get starved because they feed you quiet often. Staff will help you to cook or prepare any fish or prawn that you buy outside and turn it to delicious food for your dinner or lunch..nnThey offer day trips as well, we enjoyed our island hopping day trips. there's no electrity during the daytime, the electricity back on at 6pm onwards til 6am. No wifi but we don't need it, cause we enjoy the scenery from the balcony..

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T GO THEREnnLets start with the facility: The resort is situated in the village of Sawai. The rooms are big, but very basic, which means that there is electricity just during the night, a dirty bathroom without any sink or hot shower and also the rooms are not properly saperated from the other, meaning the rooms are just seperated by walls which do not reach the ceiling. So if you have a neighbour snorring all night, you will definetely hear it. Anyways, the resort is situated above the water and you have nice views to the ocean. Nevertheless, we payed 600.000rph per night, which i think is way to expensive for what you get compared to other places in Indonesia and especially in comparison to the other places to stay in Teluk Sawai like Ora or Saleman village. English is not spoken at all and the staff and the very very nice owner (irony off, we come to that later) don't care much about what you want to do or your needs. After a few tries using google translate and asking another couple who was staying at the resort, the owner come up with a snorkling trip for 1.000.000rph per day for the boat. For us it was to expensive and he also didn't wanted to negotiate the price and said we should find other people to join us so it will be cheaper. Said and done, the next day we were 4 people and participated in the excursion. The trip was ok, we went to Pulau Tujuh ( 7 very lovely islands were we stayed 7 days afterwards).nAt the next day we wanted to leave Lisar Bahari resort and asked for transportation to the Seven Islands (Pulau Tujuh). Thats were the trouble began. The owner wanted to charge us 1.500.000rph just for the transportation wich is ridiculous! (Later we got a tranportation from Locals without a lot of negotiation for 500.000rph.) So we decided just to pay our bill from for the room and the snorkling trip. To our suprise, the snorkling trip now was not 1.000.000rph anymore but 1.500.000. So we ask him that we agreed on the 1.000.000 for 4 people and why he is now charging more. At this point the owner started acting like a kid and completely refused to talk to us anymore.... So we thought about what to do now and then assorted the money we owe him. At the second time we wanted to talk to the owner and pay him he completely freaked out. I gave him the Money (2.900.000rph) and the owner THREW all the money instatly in my face. While i was still suprised what just happened, he grabbed a small bike and tried to HIT my girlfriend with it!!! All got crazy at a second, the woman were screaming at us and all the employees gathered around us. A very tense situation developed and we just grabbed our stuff as fast as possible and made our way to the canter of the village. I really don't want to know what would have happened if my girlfriend was alone there.nWe also met a women form Kanada ( with indonesian influences i think) who is conduction several meetings for environmental protection at the resort. Also she told us that the owner often is very unfriendly to his guests and seems to already have made enough money so he does't have to care about anthing anymore!nnSo all in all: if you don't want to be scammed or physically threatened by the owner, please DON'T GO THERE!!nThe place is ok to stay but in comparison to the other choices you have to stay in the area far inferior!

The guest house at the end of the road in Sawai. I’ve been welcomed here for years and wouldn’t have it any other way. Sleepy little place built over the water. I love taking the canoe to the old swimming platform under the cliffs. There are beautiful fish to watch. There are of course lots of other paid excursions available too. But the village at sunset is not to be avoided.
