A disaster. A disgrace. The worst managed institution/university/company/shop I have ever seen. A young university that has been established without any good constructive staff/management/experience.nIf you would like to see how bad this university is, try to compare it with Open University beside it, or any other young university in town or anywhere else. Regulations/rules/terms are changed without prior notice forcing the students to pay the price.nOnly 10% of the lecturers are good, descent and academic, the rest don't speak proper English and with proper English I don't English with an accent, I merely imply English with correct grammar.nnNo system in which you could check your grades, your performance, your outstanding fees...etc nothing. All other universities have it.nWhenever there's an exam you'll have to queue 3 times to have your exam slip.n1: at the registry where they will tell you to get a clearance paper from financen2: at finance where they will waste an hour or so from your time since they have no idea what's going on and you will be lucky if they don't claim that you have some outstanding which would very likely turn out wrong if you fight them backn3: back to the registry and queuing again...nMore than an hour or so of your time might be wasted. Will it be easier for everyone to type in your mat number at the registry and see whatever you have or have not? Like any other school? But of course, they don't want to waste their money in anything that could be useful to the students.nnNobody knows what to do, if you have an issue every single staffer will tell you something different on how to deal with it. Nobody can take responsibility of anything. It is always on us students.nnA dead university, no events at all and if there are any you can count them with the fingers of one hand.nnWorst library ever, name a book and I dare you to find it there, they don't even have the equivalent of books you might be looking for. So they will ask you to go to University of Malaya's library. We paid for something, we didn't receive 0.0000001 per cent of it.nnI wish everyone who's considering this university to take a moment, to do the necessary research and comparisons before taking a decision you'd only regret for the rest of your life.nnMore than 500 students suffered of applying to this uni, don't be like them. Don't go through what they went through. Find a Uni that would consider you give you back what you pay for in full.nnIumw will be the mistake that I will never forgive myself for, no matter how forgiving I will be in the future.nI wish I could give it 0 star at all but apparently, according to google, everyone deserves a star

Some lecturer are knowledgeable but management are totally inefficient. Finance are literally non-responsive when it comes to your query, but when you owe money, they chase you till the end of the earth. Arrangement between management and lecturers to ensure effective teaching are nonexistent. You as student will be the one who need to find out your assignments, studies, and exam details. Nothing will be communicated effectively to you. Shameless for a management that wants to ride on big names like UM.

It could have been one of the best private universities in Malaysia. It is jointly owned by the University of Malaya and the University of Wales, UK. They have a stunning campus which is situated in Jalan Tun Ismail, near PWTC. The current Chancellor is Sir Tan Sree Tony Fernandez, the owner of Air Asia. The university was established in 2012, and it has provided quality education to more than 25000 students.nnThe campus is situated near Sunway Putra Mall and can be easily accessed by KTM and Bus. There are lots of parking spaces available for students and teachers. It is an outstanding institution for locals and international students because the tuition fees are reasonable. The education quality is high—all in all, an excellent institution for graduate and postgraduate studies.

Simply the worst. I find it ironic that this university is still functioning. I mean just check the reviews, the ones with 4 and 5 stars have barely two likes meanwhile the negative reviews have at least 30. Is it a coincidence? I DONT THINK SO. And to all of you students who decided to give it 5 and 4 stars, I know you, we used to sit in the smoking area and you never stopped complaining about the lecturers and the management, now you’re doing masters? ud83dude02 it’s crazy how some people are easily bought and sold. Knowlegeable lecturers BUT horrible management.nnAcademic results are not out when the management says it is out, and with no explanations given. You’ll have to play the waiting game.nnThe exam unit takes deadlines as a joke and ignores emails like it is a game. It makes you wonder is this the graduates the university aims to produce?nnAs a student here myself, please, please stay away. There are better universities out there with an “affordable” fee too.
