For a person like me who loves nature, animals and especially birds, they've simply created a heaven on earth. The whole botanical garden is just paradise and this is cherry on top of the cake. Where else will you find such variety and walk among some of nature's most colourful creatures.nnAs much as I love to visit zoo's, I hate to see birds/animals trapped in cages as they are meant for flying (hence the expression free as a bird) and here they have put ''free flight'' concept to best use because all birds are living/breeding/nesting naturally in their own habitat. With all those trees, bushes, branches, fallen leaves, dense vegetation, ponds, is almost like a real tropical forest which is very important for the conservation of rare species.

The Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is a great place to visit. You walk among the birds and it's a great place to take the kids.nI found it convenient to just take a Lyft ride from my hotel to the bird park.nAs you're in the area then you might as well make a day of it and also visit the Butterfly Park, Orchid Park, Deer Park, Hibiscus Gardens and the Police Museum. These attractions are in close walking distance.

So happy we made it to KL bird park!nnIt's so amazing to be in a space where there are many birds of different species roaming and flying freely around going about their day. There are some caged eg parrots and hornbills. This is surely with reason.nnThe owls look so surreal. It is hard to tell if they are real (they absolutely are!!) as they look so beautifully still (except for the occassional blinks or head turns).nnCatch the bird show if you can as it is very intertaining! ud83dude0a

Bird park is opened during MCO. Been many times with my family and I'm not going in this times. Good place for family with kids, there are a lot of birds freely flying around.nnDuring this times, pandemic, amazing seeing a lot of mischief monkeys around outside the bird park. Although, they climbing everywhere, they afraid of people but beware, not to feed them or else they chase after you for foods and also, don't attract or chase them. Somehow, they well-behaved, going by groups.

This bird park is one of the best tourists attractions in Kuala Lumpur. It covers a huge area and houses thousands and thousands of birds of different types. The presentation of these species is excellent which allows the visitors to have photo shoot and selfies with the birds as easy as possible in a very friendly relationship between humans and birds. You can easily spend hours at this park with your children who will definitely enjoy every second they spend in this park.
