I arrived in Medan a morning after the 11th September 2001. A driver was waiting for me and we took the road to join Nias ... Sacred road. We crossed Sumatra from East to West to reach the port of Sibolga ... What a magnificent road ... A little stop at Lake Toba story of eating and discovering the architecture so special houses and we left Sibolga or we arrived at the end of the day. I boarded the ferry between Sibolga and Teluk Dalam where I arrived the next morning. During tjhe trip from Sibolga to Teluk Dalam I slept on the Captain Cabin . I am so happy to have known Harefa and his family. I was incredibly lucky to be able to surf Lagundri with two while there was a solid 2 meters; I had the chance to meet the family of Harefa and discover the small village of Lagundri still wild and to know Lily's Losmen
