Absolutely amazing staff, very friendly, super helpful, always ready to go an extra mile to make your stay as good as possible. Adam from the front desk even spent the whole day with us, showed us the village and local markets and took us to the bat cave at the beginning of the jungle. We were really lucky and we even saw an orangutan on the way. We cooked the dinner together and spent all the nights talking with his local friends and singing together. You can also organise jungle tracks at the homestay (I really wish we knew that before we booked ours because Adam is a really wonderful guide) Rooms are nice and clean, the view from the terrace is stunning and you can even watch monkeys playing around at the garden. If I could rate this place with more stars than 5, I would definitely do it! Amazing place run by amazing people!!!

I stayed here over a year ago and still wanted to write this review. Staying here was the best decision I made during my honeymoon in Indonesia. the whole trip was amazing, but this place and their jungle hike take the cake. Their prices were upfront, extremely fair, and their service was above and beyond. For a westerner, it was great not have to haggle for once to get a good price. The overnight jungle hike they took us on, I cannot put into words. Their food was phenomenal, the rooms were very nice, and the staff were people I think fondly of even a year later. Fantastic place, amazing people, incredible memories. highly recommended.

Loved Amar and his whole crew. We went for a three day trek and then stayed for a day at Bugis Inn. Couldn't be more greatful for Amar's hospitality. If you in Bukit Lawang, go for the trek with these real jungle boys.

the toilet is beautiful. the blanket if you can swallow it a little bit. it's cold because it's dawn
