Daswati Lampung House, is a historic home for Lampung Province. This house was once used as the National Front Office, a mass organization formed by Bung Karno as part of the government to build a republic after the war of independence. Zainal Abidin Pagar Alam was once the chairman of the Tanjungkarang Front. Daswati's house is the forerunner of the Lampung provincial government which previously was still joined by the South Sumatra Province.
