At that time Pdt. Harjowasito came as a consular pastor and resides in Metro. This situation lasted until the war for independence ended in 1950. After 1950, fellowships and services began again with other church members at the Bambu Kuning church. In 1954, the consular pastor in charge was Pdt. Siswodwijo. In 1957 the GKJ service was held at Bambu Kuning at pkl. 16.00 WIB which later changed to pkl. 11.00 WIB. January 1, 1958 the Tanjungkarang GKJ group was formed with the chairman of the assembly Bp. Kasmad, with a congregation of 63 people (30 adults and 33 children) who were based at GKJ Metro. 1 January 1959 The Tanjungkarang GKJ received staff assistance, namely Eddy S. Sihrahmanto as Assistant Pastor (PP). August 27, 1961 the Tanjungkarang group was matured by the mother church in Metro, having an assembly chaired by Bp. Kasmad. PP Eddy Sihrahmanto was called to Metro, causing the assembly's work to be heavier, because the service covered areas outside Tanjungkarang. Only in 1965 in Tanjungkarang was there Pdt. Poedjosuwito as pastor of Tanjungkarang delegation who served the South Lampung area, both before and after having his own church pastor. Pdt. Poedjosuwito served until he was called by God on December 3, 1983. Meanwhile Pdt. Sukarwan who was ordained as pastor of the Tanjungkarang GKL congregation on March 20, 1970, was stripped of his position because of violations of church law on June 21, 1978. At that time also came Rev. Hoogerwef, as a pastor from Metro, served as a cadre, residing in Tanjungkarang from 1968-1973. A few moments later forwarded by Rev. Yussar Yanto was in charge until emiritus in 2000. After experiencing an absence of church pastor for 6 years, on June 3, 1982, Pdt. Solihin Daniel was in charge of serving as a pastor until he was called to serve at the Seafarers' Foundation in 1995. The place of worship on December 25, 1974 moved from Bambu Kuning to Sutan Syahrir 27, which at that time was still in the shape of 2 houseboats. During the renovation of the convention house in 1976 there were many challenges from the community and the Bandar Lampung Regional Government. With the help of brothers in the faith both in government and outside the government, the convention continued, and finally renovations could be completed in December 1982 with a 1984 IMB. In 1995 the house of worship was restored (renovation), and its physical shape is as it is today. During those times several Tanjungkarang GKL groups joined GKL Sidomulyo (Gaya Indah, Batu liman, Umbul Kalang). From the Sumber Rejeki group, Margo Agung, Umbul Rejo, who previously had an assistant priest (PP) Bpk. Suyatno together with the Karangsari, Trinity, Insight group, integrated with GKL Way Galih to become Tanjungbintang GKL in 1998 and at the same time Bpk was ordained. Eko Prih Joko Sungkowo, S.Th on August 27, 1997, who previously served at GKL Way Galih.
