Roemah Pan Sik Kek

Roemah Pek Sin Kek is a building in the style of the New Indies architecture (Indisch) which is located on Jalan Ahmad Yani, Sawahlunto City, West Sumatra. This house is located around the Sawahlunto City Youth Market. The building was founded in 1916 and is owned by a Chinese family named Pek Sin Kek. Aside from being a family residence, this building was also used as a theater, a place for the Malay community, as well as an ice and bread factory.

This building named Rumah Pek Sin Kek, was built in 1906 as the family home of Pek Sin Kek. It was once used as a Theater Building, a Place for the Society of Malays and as an Ice Factory. And now this House Building functions as a Souvenir Shop.nThis building is an Indonesian Cultural Heritage and UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, the Old City of Ombilin Sawahlunto Coal Mine (Ombilin Coal Mining Heritage of Sawahlunto - UNESCO World Heritage sites).
