This is a unique cocoa farm with animal houses for goats, ducks, chicken, and fish ponds for catfish, goramy and eels. You can explore different kinds of poultry in the farm, feed the fish, cuddle the new born ewes, and witness a goat milking demonstration. All can be pleasant and educative for children as well as for their parents.

The farm was very well set up, organised and managed. Was great to see the youth involved in practical agricultural projects that will go a long way to helping them keep developing agriculture in Polewali Mandar. Greatly appreciated the hospitality of all staff and hope that sharing our experiences with each other was beneficial.

Quiet, peaceful place to learn how to grow cocoa and raise goats (in integration with cocoa). The owner welcomes farmers, students, scientists to share the knowledge on how to grow cocoa and raise goats in sustainable way.

For those who are interested in mixed farming especially cocoa-goat mixed farming, Bin Raji Farm is a very good place to visit and see how the mixed farming is practiced. I spent a month at the farm and I would say it was a time well-spent. Prior to my visit, I have no exposure at all about cocoa and goat farming in Indonesia. During my brief stay at the farm, I learned the basics about cocoa farming particularly from Pak Sunarya (farm manager) who has extensive practical knowledge about cocoa farming. Dr Agus (farm owner), Pak Sunarya and the farm staff are very supportive when I conducted my fieldwork about financial analysis of cocoa-goat mixed farming. Aside from my own study at the farm, I voluntarily involved myself in farm activities in order to learn about the daily management of the mixed farming.nThis farm is located in very quiet environment and it’s perfect to learn and to study. The farm has modest accommodation that keep visitors during their visit. I definitely recommend to anyone who is interested in cocoa-goat farming to visit.nnAbrao PereiranStudent at the University of Sydney

If you are a student or a researcher, you can conduct research on organic agriculture, environmental protection, climate change or drought mitigation in Bin Raji Farm. You can stay with the farmer in a traditional Mandar stilt house with simple but complete amenities, such as bathrooms with shower, toilet seat and wash basin.
