It is a ferry port that connects Batam and Singapore. This port is quite modern and spacious. Inside this port there are customs and immigration officials. You can also find Duty Free Shop at this place. In addition, at various counters that sell Ferry tickets, you can also buy a Singapore phone card, but physical new cards will be given to us when you arrive in Singapore. This port is owned by the government. In the harbor there is also a mosque for Muslims who will pray.

Taxi Services in batam is probably one factor in bringing down the attractiveness of Batam. As usual we know the Taxi Drivers hate grab or Gojek drivers, and angry at us when they saw I keep looking at my mobile phone. Actually one simple solution for Taxi Services to improve just have a normal fair meter running fares, instead of currently shady fixed rates and they can keep their rice bowl and economy will improve in batam. The rate that Taxi charged us is double of Grab/Gojek.nIn the end we are forced to keep walking further away from the Batam Centre Ferry Terminal.nTake note: Grab/Gojek drivers will ask u wait outside at the bus stop to board their vehicles.

This terminal is really busy and crowded in the weekend. Food courts are available on the 2nd floor.nThere are shopping malls, hotels, and other facilities near the terminal.nOnline taxi is only allowed to carry passengers into the terminal. If we want to go from the terminal, we must take a taxi available there. The fare is around 80k rupiah. That's quite expensive but that's the only option.

Need more ventilation, too many people too small place. Be prepared, bring or fan or something on Sundays
