This mosque is quite large in the prayer room. It could be an alternative for obligatory prayers or Friday for travelers because of its location that is already outside the City of Ende. The position of this mosque is right on the edge of the trans Flores road that connects the city of Ende with cities that are west of Flores Island (Bajawa, Mbay, Borong, Ruteng, and Labuan Bajo).nnYummy again the mosque is equipped with large doors on three sides so that air circulation and light run smoothly. Especially in the south door directly facing the Savu Sea which presents views of the open sea nuanced blue. This view is more perfect when the sea breeze blows ashore and enters through the doors and vents of the mosque. Amboy does not feel like going from the mosque.nnThis atmosphere that I experienced when stopped by this mosque for Friday Prayer on my way home from Mbay to Maumere in early February. The cool sea breeze coupled with fatigued body conditions makes Friday sermon time an opportunity to take a nap while resting.nnBut remember, the fence position directly adjacent to the highway is quite vulnerable for pilgrims or passers-by. Moreover, this road is the only route to penetrate the island of Flores. Stay alert because this road is quite crowded by motorbikes, public transportation, private cars, buses, to large trucks.
