A very strategic place and the service is disappointing A little history about the pharmacy, The term Apoteke or Apotek was introduced by a Roman doctor or physician named Galen (131-201 CE), who named his place to examine patients as "latron" and the place to store drugs was called "apotheca", which literally meant warehouse. The name Galen is now enshrined as a designation of mechanically dispensing medicine (with mortars for example), namely Galenicals. Although the pharmacy as the name of a drug warehouse has been since the 2nd century, but the pharmacy as a place of manufacture and distribution of new drugs existed in 750 CE, 500 years after Galen, and its place in Baghdad, not in Rome. The image and status of the pharmacy in Baghdad at that time was very high and famous, so that not a few people who complete his name with the attribute "Ibn-al-attar" which means "the son of a pharmacist". In 1240, the Sicilian kingdom passed laws that separated the medical profession from pharmacists. Doctors can only examine patients, prescribe medication.
