Whale Shark Gorontalo

It's very exiting place. The scenery is beautiful. If you come in the tight time you can see the whale shark. You can also diving and touch this whale shark.

It was amazing to see the whale sharks so close! We were given a good briefing on how to respect the fish before we went in the water. For best chances to see whale sharks arrive early (6-7am). We were later but very lucky! Only five-six people in the water and one boat.

The Whale Shark attraction is seasonal. Sadly, there's no exact prediction on when it can be seen. Knowing a guide that have a connection to locals that live near the area will be very useful.

The whaleshark point is close to beach we can swim from the beach. For those who can't swim can use boat of 3 ppl for 80k including food for ws (duration 20 minutes). For snorkeling we are charged 35k for 20 minutes, diving 60k for an hour. Snorkeling sets are provided to rent but bringing ur own set is suggested.nnThere's no guarantee u can see the ws but if u are lucky u may meet 4 of 33 ws that have been recorded in the conservatory.
