Ombilinmijnen Hospitaal / Ombilin Hospital, built in 1915 was the largest, most modern Hospital with the best doctors from Europe during the Dutch Colonial period. Until now it functions as Sawahlunto General Hospital.nBuildings in this area are Indonesian Cultural Heritage and UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, Ombilin Sawahlunto Old City Coal Mine (Ombilin Coal Mining Heritage of Sawahlunto - UNESCO World Heritage sites).
