Port Of Lembar

This port connects Lombok and Bali via lombok strait. As for the place,like most port in Indonesia,it is not so clean,but it offers good panorama on morning.

Very helpful people on arrival. Heading to Bali is only public Transport, travel agency here will bring you to Bali and arrange transfer to location on choice. I paid 200k to get from here to Ubud. Very fair and helpful

If you want to enjoy the ferry boats trip, this is your choice. From Padangbai to Lembar takes approximately 4,5 hours with ferry boats. Last time I get a very great boats, KMP Narraya, large seating place with air conditioner, clean floor, and nice cafeteria.

I read a lot of negative reviews about this place before coming here to take the ferry from Lombok to Bali. In reality my experience was quite the opposite. I came here by taxi so I cannot comment of public transport. I also could not locate a hotel near the harbour. But the Lembar town (just about 500 metre from the harbour) is quite developed with good roads and nice buildings. I had no problem walking up to the counter and buying my own ticket at the official rate. Nobody came to snatch my luggage. Yes, there were lots of vendors inside the boat but they left before the boat started.
