The Krakatoa Lampung Embryo Museum is the first museum in South Lampung to store a variety of sites left over from the explosion of Mount Krakatau in 1883.nnThe Embryo Museum, which was established by the Krakatau Museum and Research Foundation in 2001, was originally located in the Kalianda Resort tourist area which is now the Grand Elty, Kalianda. In 2005, then Deputy Governor of Banten Rano Karno, moved the Embryo Museum to the Krakatau Steel Industrial area.nnFinally in 2015 the Museum Embryo returned to South Lampung precisely in the Village of Tajimalela, Kalianda sub-district, South Lampung. The museum was built in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Culture in the Museum and Museum of the Indonesian National Commission for UNESCO.nnInside the museum, you can see the sites of the remaining explosion of historical evidence in the form of paintings, photographs, Dutch newspapers about the eruption of Mount Krakatoa, even there is also a miniature of Mount Krakatoa, Sertung Island, Krakatau Island, Purba and Panjang Island.

Krakatau Museum provides information about the history of Krakatoa volcano .. very useful for the community, especially students to know the history of Krakatau eruption of the legendary .. located in the district of South Lampung and still affordable by vehicle
