I don’t blame them. There’s not much to tour in Batam. The tour wasn’t that value for money. Brought us to simple places. The “dry food market” really just resembles a convenience store. The “factory outlet” is a little shopfront, not the kind of village you would have in mind. Lunch buffet is basic, and not that delicious so you wouldn’t go for second helpings. Compulsory tips of 20.000 enforced.

We needed to join another tour group because we were the only ones who were there for our original tour group. Our original tour included sightseeing at the bridge and the village, but our new guide explained that they weren't that interesting to look at (bcs it's time consuming to travel there and back as well). Tour ended earlier than our original tour probably because of the two sightseeing places that we did not go to. We were brought to many shopping places like dry food market, coffee, ada's soap, and etc, and tour ended with a massage and then a lift back to our hotel.nnOur new tour guide was nice and friendly, she explained to us what are the differences between the original tour and her tour. :)nnBut I suggest that a better communication channel can be established so that they can easily contact us and we can easily contact them, so that tour groups won't be switched anymore. It may be acceptable for us, but not for others. :)

there is no '0' star so Im giving 1nnMy experience in Batam.nn- i was on time in ferry terminal and done all formalities.n- once reached Sekupang, our guide was waiting and I boarded in the Van (worst ever condition).n- all the tourist spot was covered by the guide - great work.n- lunch - it is mentioned as buffet, but we got a local poor unhygienic food (soup, rice and watermelon) - very worst experience.n- breakfast - again there is no buffer, while checking in reception, they told the kitchen is under maintenance and only a cup of noodles provided (they prepared it @ 6AM and i had it @ 9AM) - again a very bad experience.n- in itinerary shopping mall is mentioned, whereas we were not been there.n- return ferry ticket - no one is there to guide me to get the ticket.n- massage - goodnnoverall it was a pathetic experience, i bought 2 Fave voucher for this trip and you guys totally disappoint me.
