Formerly here was a mushalla, then in the 2000s it turned into a mosque as the population grew. Padang Koto Gaek still goes into Jorong Balai Talang. Usually, every one jorong has only one mosque. But there is a mosque in Balai Talang.nnThe Al Hidayah Mosque is not too big, but the square is spacious.
