A quiet place

Free entry. Hundreds of ancient objects are stored in this museum which is located near the Pleret Bantul Market in Yogyakarta. One of the locations in the Pleret Antiquity Museum of History that attracts attention is the existence of a pink well where residents called Sumur Gumuling. It is said that if we use this well water, those who do not yet have a mate can quickly get a mate.

This is the second ruins of the ancient Mataram kingdom in Pleret, the first of which is in Kerta. Now this place has turned into a museum. You can go round the vicinity, while listening to the young, friendly guides. You can see some remnants of the ancient kingdom, some are outside, the others are displayed in the building in the west part of this museum. This place is a well-preserved and much better than its original location in Kerta.
