A nice to know place while visiting Yogyakarta. It was an old house owned by Sultan Hamengkubuwono V, and it is still well taken cared by the goverment. There was no entrance fee and there was a tour guide slash guard of the house. He will take you on a tour around the house and explain regarding the history and so on. It is an old building, but clean. Only need around 1 hour to see this place, and tourist can take as many photos as we like.

Commercial PalacennProbably the only palace / guesthouse in Indonesia that is equipped with a * 5 hotel and mall.nnIt is rarely known that Ambarukmo was the capital of Sleman Regency from 1947-1964.nnUnder the management of the Royal Ambarukmo Hotel, the guesthouse is now functioning as an open ballroom for various activities.nnEquipped with a TransJogja shelter in front of it, this pesanggrahan is very easy to reach, considering the right road divides Ambarukmo into two: north (Pesanggrahan, Hotel, Mall) and south (Ambarukmo Square)
