We were totally blown away by Raja Ampat. But what made it such a good trip was not just the outstanding natural beauty above and below water of the entire area but the experience of staying at and diving with Biodiversity Eco Resort. The hotel is super chilled and is the perfect balance of luxury meets desert island getaway. Honestly, paradise. We love to eating good food, and we chose Biodiversity because of the online reviews, particularly of the food.. every meal was excellent..and catered well for vegetarians, they even have their own pastry chef (such a bonus when the dive snacks come out) and a pizza oven! Kaylee and her team were perfect hosts in resort, nothing was too much trouble. We were lucky enough to have Tristan, highly experienced Dive Instructor and the dive centre manager as our dive guide for the week. Tristan runs a professional operation and the boat guys all know what they are doing and are a great team. My wife who can often get nervous in at new dive sites felt totally comfortable from the start. Many dives sites I could put in my top 5 ever.. however we saw turtles, reef sharks, octopus and walking sharks all on the house reef!! Highly recommended! We will be coming back!!

We had the most wonderful time in Biodiversity Eco Resort, within the most beautiful setting. The staff couldn’t have been more warm and friendly, the food was delicious, varied, with healthy options. Amazing house reef! Such a variety of marine life, with great boat trip options each day (weather permitting, of course). We loved the cottage/bungalow, gorgeous outdoor shower and listening to the jungle sounds each day. As snorkelers, we were still able to join in on many of the daily dive excursions. Very important to us. Our guide was brilliant! We enjoyed the privacy we could have whilst at the resort, staff respected our peace, whilst being helpful at all times. It was enjoyable to have sociable occasions too, such as the meal times. Kaylee and Tristan, the resort and dive managers were fab! They provided all we needed, put up with our endless questions ☺ufe0f and were good company. It was so good to also meet Patricia and Rey, so grateful to have stayed in their stunning resort. We miss everyone and the place so much. Thank you Biodiversity Eco Resort!

We stayed for 8 days in late June. Although this is not the best time to visit, we thoroughly enjoyed our diving and photography, thanks for our excellent guides and hosts. Our accommodation in a superior cottage was excellent; we appreciated the hot water this time. The food was even better than we remembered from our 2 previous holidays. We always meet lovely, like-minded people at this resort - lots of fun and good conversation. Many thanks to all concerned.

My husband and I were at Biodiversity Eco resort for 9 days in late October. The resort is truly top notch, in harmony with nature, soaked in the sounds of the sea and the living creatures that live in harmony here. What really makes it magical is Kaylee & Tristan and the whole team of people who really made us feel at home. The extremely warm and loving atmosphere was what really fascinated us. Private paradise - literally. This is something I would warmly recommend to anyone who loves nature, peace, beauty and harmony. Truly one of the best dives i have ever done. The Staff are absolutely amazing, nothing is to much for them. equipment well looked after and service is excellent. Rooms right on the beach, well spaced apart from each other.nHouse Keeping do a fantastic job looking after the rooms.nFOOD I don't know how they can produce such quality, don't expect to come and lose weight here. even with all the dive that you can do.nnIts really nice to find a place where you can do an hour dive, not like most places where you always coming up around 45min.nwhen you under the water you will be amazed with the different species that you will encounter. they truly do have 75 % of the worlds species here. and the coral is out of this world.
