Lovely village. Entrance is donation. A guide walks you around the village and tells you about there culture. Really good. Highly recommend

It was worth the visit. Some of the buildings and history were great. But this is a highly commercialized venture, you are given a guide who tells you some history only to lure you to there house to con you into buying over priced (very over priced) items that you can buy anywhere. This is more about emptying your wallet than imparting there knowledge.

Such an amazing experience. This is how everyone should live. Such peace and harmony. This village is 11 centuries old with 250 equal family's. No caste system. A lovely village with fantastic hand crafts from basket weaving to cotton and silk weaving. The items made by the family that we visited were beautiful and definite keepsakes. A definite must visit if you are close to Candidasa.

Must see! Very nice old villige, no tourist there. Local people sell here traditional and hand made products. Entrance free but donation recomend.
