Tirta Gangga literally means ‘water from the Ganges’ and it is a great mix of Balinese and Chinese architecture. The first thing you notice when you enter this complex is a pond with a row of guardian figures and a central towering fountain. Many polygonal stones enable you to explore the pond, watching the huge koi fish swimming around it. The whole place has a peaceful vibe due to its lush gardens, bridges and exotic flowers, which makes it an excellent spot for an insta-worthy shot. This magical place can be really crowded so the best time to visit it is early in the morning.

Tirta Gangga lies somewhat inconspicuously in a curve.nWith a small entrance fee, it's off to a magical place.nSmall ponds are laid out on a total of eleven terraces.nHuge koi carp swim in the lower ponds, and small shops sell fish feed.nThis place is perfect for really impressive snapshots.

Beautiful amusement park) Until I visited, I thought it was a temple and all that. Cashier at the entrance, swing on the territory, food for fish in local stalls ... The area itself is gorgeous and the views too, but not a temple. Just a beautiful park with fish)

Tirta Gangga is based on the beliefs in Balinese Hinduism, where river Ganges and its waters are considered sacred. Its waters are cherished for irrigation and agricultural abundance, recreation and economic activity. The Patirthan temple illustrates the historic significance of Tirta Gangga in the Balinese tradition as a pilgrimage and holy water site.
