Beautiful. You cannot love the place. Indeed, not so easy to find and to move from here, but as everywhere in Indonesia. The personnel is very friendly. The view is amazing. Don't hesitate to wake up to see the sunrise. Even it is too early ud83dude0a you will not regret.

I booked the whole 7 camps for my family. The whole camp booked for my family apparently. No other guest.nnPrior to the visit, I already send the email to them to clarify couple of things, no reply.nTried to call, no answernnThe day we arrived, The staff tells us all the regulations, no sitting allowed in the grass, kids not allowed to play around, gathering is not allowed, playing music only until certain things.nnI don’t mind if a venue has it owned regulations, but what I expect they communicate it in writing and especially the way he communicate with us was so super terriblennHe rise his voice. No hospitality at all.nHe said, that money can’t buy everything.nAgain, im ok with that, I just want the phone number of his manager or his owner. Instead of giving me the number, he is again rising his voice and his body language seems like ready to fight.nnWe decide to leave this place.nI feel he is intimidating my family, I feel not save and not respected.nWhat a shame that beauty place should be organized by this terrible man.

Overall the location is picturesque and excellent value for money. The huts comfortable and cool in the evening as well as having lights etc. The food is good and the staff are friendly. The let down was, the owner had 2 family parties back to back. The first as pretty tame, finished up before dinner, just felt awkward sitting in the communal area with all the family gathered around, it wad a private event and it was clear guests were intruding. The second night a much larger and louder crowd of family came for an anniversary, there was no room to sit in the communal area and it was pretty loud, we spoke to the owner and he assured us it would end at 8pm. Which would have been no problem for us, a majority of people stay there to do the Mount Batur sunrise trek which you have to wake up at 245am for. The party continued, with people drinking, loud music and loud talking etc. We had to wake up early so at 11pm I went and asked the owner (who had actually gone to bed!) Of he could ask his family to keep it down so we could sleep. He came down to the camp and there was a huge fight between him and his family. It was very awkward and we almost left. One of his family members even spat at me as he left. I don't have a problem with him holding parties, maybe just close the camp or let guests know before they stay??nnThe owner did give us a $25 discount, without us asking. He is a genuinely nice guy, just an awkward night.

Amazing place for camp, this is more than glamping. You can't not get in anywhere in Bali. So neat, clean, fresh and of course so nature. Best moment in low season.
