Beautiful location and beautiful rooms, but sadly the staff are not empowered. We asked to refill our water bottles, we also said we're happy to pay for this service if needed, we just don't want to use the plastic. They agreed on our first request but told us strictly it was a one-time thing. We ended up buying our own gallon and refilling our bottles ourselves.nThe food in the restaurant was also really hit and miss with some dishes great, and the quality of other dishes really poor (ingredients were stingy).nFor the price of this hotel, I felt they really missed on the service they offered to guests. It just all felt a bit stingy.

I didn’t expect to find a place like this in a remote area like Medewi beach. I heard that it’s used to be quite shabby and old. But now... the rooms are beautifully renovated. And even the lobby I was told just had a face lift few months back. The food at the restaurant was good. The staff was well trained. Excellent hospitality. The only sight annoyance was that I can hear prayers in the wee hours from the mosque nearby... so if you’re a light sleeper...bring earplugs ud83dude05

It’s a beautiful location, but they’re stingy with everything. They only have a toothbrush in their amenities box, and breakfast is tiny. No welcome basket of fruits, or any nice little details that one would expect for the price they charge.nTwo things that really killed my stay with them:n1. At breakfast on the first day, I was given table water because I asked for it (less plastic right?). The next day, the waitress said I had to buy a bottle and that they wouldn’t serve me regular water. I explained that i was served table water yesterday but she flat out said no and walked away, then started reprimanding her staff loudly.n2. They were cutting the grass in front of our villa at 8am. The most unpleasant alarm when you’re on vacation!
