Meh. Food was well presented although portions measly and service hit or miss. After we finished we were all still hungry so we went straight to Lemongrass down the road to get another meal and got huge meals and better value.

Beautiful food and atmosphere, could spend all day here - Kayu is our favourite eatery on the island. The staff are all so lovely, too! Highly recommend this spot for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. The place is also really well looked after :)

Came here for the vegan tofu scramble and it didn't disappoint. Bulked it up a bit by adding sourdough/ mushrooms on the side. Decently priced for a breakfast on the main road and location to the beach. Lovely grounds (garden setting with plenty of breathing room), impeccably polite and delightful staff who seemed genuinely happy in their work. The coffee needs a lot of work, and this is the only reason why 5 stars were not awarded. The owner is a lovely Brit, who checked in with us about everything as we were paying.

Found this place by accident and it was a pleasant surprise. Very nice staff, quick service, clean bathrooms and food was excellent. My boyfriend had the beef tacos and it was amazing. I had the tuna bowl and it wasn’t disappointing either. They also have organic teas from Ubud.
