Warung Forest

Had the best good in Bali. Cheapest and best so far. It was little difficult to locate the restaurant (we took a car there in the jungle road) and it was difficult to assure ourselves that this is the same restaurant. However the photos in Google confirmed that we are at the right place.nnWonderful homemade food cooked by Wayne's wife. They even gave us a complimentary dessert - how wonderful that is. The fruits were from their garden and the juices was amazing.nnVery small place with no restaurant feel. If you want to have great food (not the food prepared in the morning and served later in the afternoon or evening), go for Warung Forest. Great experience from great people.

Interesting experience. Place is somewhere in nowhere in the forest :) super friendly owner,just 3 tables. Dragonfruit juce was very tasty. Rice with chicken was good, too. Unfortunately it took like 45mins,even though we were the only ones. And, in comparison to other good restaurants pretty expensive. However, if you have time and are not looking for a super cheap meal probably worth to give it a try.

Imagine eating fresh and local food in a small village that sits on top of a mountain in the forest. Absolutely wild and amazing! It's an experience to be had. I think I have to come back to make sure it was real and not some Alice in wonderland moment :)nAnd amazing service. Wayan is full of local knowledge and is so helpful.

Such a lovely hidden gem. The family is very friendly and tells you about how they run the warung and how the local food is prepared. I had the chicken which tasted as one of the best I eat in my life. We ended up with a photo shoot and big goodbye with their family and our twin todlers. I would highly recommend you to go here.

A very special place, you feel like being served a delicious meal in a secret spot... It's amazing. Chicken, fish and seafood are the freshest possible, very well cooked and presented. The juices are also made on demand. Thank you so much for this moment :)
