Bandung Zoological Garden

One of the best price to excitement I've been on bandung. The staffs are great, they're very helpful. You can also feed the giraffe by paying 20k, it's all really worth it for me since the money will be used to help to keep the operation going (also the staff here took great pictures of my family). There are also a lot of animal here, some are docile and you can touch them directly (elephant & giraffe). Almost forgot, there is a big bird nest that you can get in here by walking, the scene, the path, the environment was amazing here, the problem was, there was this one visitor, he was constantly wanted to touch the cockatoo nearest to us, then the other cockatoos are going crazy by screaming out loud here, making my baby scared, so we need to get out ASAP. Overall still great experience!

Bandung Zoo seems under going some renovation. Some new area like African themed is nice and cozy while the other area is still feels very old and messy. Some facilities are still closing due to covid-19 I think. I don't know if it's just me, but the animal there seems very tired or bored? Also the bears they are very friendly to human and even asking for foods, maybe some visitor threw foods to them before? I think the zoo need more investor and bigger budget. They also need to hire more professionals to train staffs. Seriously they have potential to become a great zoo in the middle of Bandung. Ticket price is already very good for this Zoo this size 40k/person weekdays.

Nice place to spend your time with your family. It's cleaner and better than few years ago, even in some place still under construction, well done.

Nice place to bring kids and family. Much better than old zoo. Maybe because the management are Taman Safari. Old area di the back still need renovation but overall it's a nice place to go with family.

The animals look healthy.. And that's good.. The only thing bothers me is the cleanliness.. There are so many trash can here.. But some people are still littering...!
