Vihara Padepokan

If you're in the area and capable of walking for a while I'd suggest checking this place out. There is a lot of Javanese culture to be seen here along with the intersection of religions within the Java island and how the mix turned out. When I went there was no one area. It is a very interesting place.

A comfortable place to worship Buddhist.nMany animals still roam around the temple. The place is very quiet. And can see the southern sea from the monastery.

This monastery is very unique in its architecture using the Javanese Joglo architecture as the Viharnya lodge. Daei outside doesn't look like a monastery at all. This monastery is located on a hill and is rather remote so it is rarely visited by people. Because the road to the hill is still like a wilderness. From the top of the hill, we can see the view of the South Sea Coast, like Srandil Beach. In addition to the altar of the gods of the Confucian people, there is also an altar from Ibu Kanjeng Ratu Kidul which is located separately from the Vihara.
