Ngempon Temple

Ngempon Temple, locally known as Candi Ngempon, is a small temple complex set in a quiet Javanese village. The temples used yo be a jumble of stones but four of them have now been restored. They belong to the earliest style of Javanese temples from the 7th to 8th centuries. There is some attractive decoration including demonic kala heads, large birds and geometric patterns. There's also a yoni and linga. Entry to the complex is 4000 rupiah for a car.

This temple is located in the middle of rice fields. This temple is Hindu. The air here is very cool and fresh. The temple here is only 4 large temples, and the rest is small and small. About 200m from the temple there is a diwak hot spring.

The temple was built to worship the Hindu gods that were used to prevent the craters along the Diwak and derean villages from erupting, only the mystery of the temple was still mysteriously ready to make it
