Spiegel Bar & Bistro

I really like this classic Colonial theme Cafe. Its unique interior atmosphere make me feel warm and comfort here. Nice cafe to hangout while having meal or drinks. Foods and beverages are quite delicious. I suggest the management should pay attention at the cleanliness of the cafe, especially at the ceiling, because it's located in an old building. But overall, I enjoy being here.

A bit pricey but good classical heritage place

A very cool, comfy, authentic “old town” cafe, bar & resto that serves amazingly delicious food at affordable prices. Food is delicately presented in a beautiful way, and they came out fast for a pretty crowded establishment. I ordered the rib eye steak thinking it probably be a decent and “normal “ steak for this price but was pleasantly surprised with what i got. The meat is tender and super juicy with a great grill aroma. The French fries served with are from whole potatoes instead of those frozen supermarket variety that you so often get. Really satisfied and very pleasantly surprised with the quality of food this resto serves. The mushroom soup, pasta and salad that we ordered are all very good too! Will come back again and again.

A place with rare historical value. They provide sophisticated menu with full bar experience. Try their ice tea with lemon sorbet, a perfect heat-cooling drink to fight off semarang heat stroke. Also say hello to their helpful and friendly staff and bartenders, they will attentively cater Allah your needs. Thumbs up!

Accidentally found this amazing place.nFall in love with the building (love the restroom wall covered by old newspapers).nBraised cheek & mash is amazing.nBrioche french toast is a bit oily, but i love the mushroom cream sauce. Its rich with perfect thickness.nApple crumble pie is just fine. Crust is a bit too crumbly. Best point, its not too sweet.nAm not a good judge when it comes to gelato and ice cream. As long as it is rum and raisin with enough rum and generous raisin. No complain.
