The heart of the Polowijen Cultural Village. The epicenter of this site is on the Windu Well (now protected by a small cupola). That is a well that is so deep that no end is visible.nnThe well is currently in dry condition, it is said that the curse of the Mpu Purwa poet 8 centuries ago learned that his daughter Ken Dedes had been kidnapped by Tunggul Ametung the akuwu (regent) of Tumapel and the local residents did not try to resist.nnIn addition to cursing the well, Mpu Purwa also cursed Ametung to be killed by a keris and his wife was taken by someone else. A curse which was also proven, with the death of Ametung at the hands of Ken Angrok by the prick of the MPU Gandring's keris. Besides taking the position of Akuwu Tumapel, Angrok also married Ken Dedes. From them were born kings of Singhasari to Majapahit.
