Great place for celebrating special occasion with your special one, or just having ordinary dinner and grab a drink. Very nice ambience.

This used to be a favorite for nice dining in Surabaya. Well afte my last experience, not so much. Went there on a week day, solo trip. The siting took a good 10 min as they now make you fill up some sort of health form because of the pandemic. Having to give quite a bit of your details (phone number, address, email, verifying your phone by sending a code). Then of course, the customary temperature check. While I'm not opposing this measurements, I'm sure there's a way to make this less complicated. First time ever experiencing that at any place. It's basically like you are going to board a plane nowadays, sans asking for the covid test.nnOK, that was only the first impression. Then comes the food service. To begin with, the menu has changed. There's now less healthy options (in my opinion). Especially if you have diet restrictions like gluten and dairy free. My favourite here used to be the green curry barramundi with fragrant rice. So my only option was the ONLY fish dish available (the salmon). Which is a tiny slice (maybe 130gr), and barely comes with a few flowrettes of coliflower on the side. This at a hefty cost of 175k Rp ++ which puts it at 205k. Upon ordering I thought it also came with mash in the side, but then realised it was just a suggestion as when got the bill it was charged at 40k++. My total bill came to be 250k. And mind you, I did not order drinks at all! Not even water.nI think a restaurant like Mr. Fox charging this kind of prices can have more variety and better options, especially with diet restrictions. I didn't find the service very appealing either this time. Their Ismaya membership is not available either (or so I was told). Sad to say, I won't be coming back. No photos taken, I couldn't even bother.
