Our two night experience at Derawan Dive Lodge was fantastic. It is the perfect base for adventures around Derawan. We made the most of the stormy weather at the time by visiting some very cool nearby sand banks that arise during low tide. Other than that we cruised around the whole of Derawan island during the day, always looking forward to coming back to our cosy, super clean, beach chic AC room! My girlfriend and I saw numerous huge turtles during breakfast, just looking into the water from our table on the jetty! Crazy.nnWould 100% recommend and can't wait to return :)

Stayed at DDL in August with my boyfriend when travelling around in Borneo and had a really nice couple of days. I really liked the smaller size of the resort as well as the nice and clean rooms! If you’re coming to Derawan island I would highly recommend DDL for your stay!

Overall not too bad for remote island accommodation. Service is great, but food and management could use some improvement.
