Matayangu Waterfall is located in Wai Lawa, Central Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The place is still natural with cool weather because it is in the highlands. This waterfall is very beautiful so that it makes many visitors both local and foreign tourists visit here. Although the terrain to the waterfall is very heavy and steep, everything pays off with the beautiful scenery.

Nice treasure hidden away in the jungle close to Waikabubak. You need your own transport to get there (motor, car), and then be prepared to walk 1-2 hours through grass and jungle to reach the waterfall.nThe entrance is by donation (you can park your motorbike there), and this place is not well indicated. The road there is reasonable to sumba standards.nThe waterfall is impressive.
