Really cool place. Lots of traditional houses next to each other it looks awesome. And don't forget to check out the traditional weavings they offer. They're actually quite cheap compared to other places and you help the local artisans!

We went to Bena Traditional Village from Riung around the 17 Island National Park. It's a beautiful village with it's amazing culture, history, nature, and people. Everyone was so humble and welcome. The view was amazing and you can see the mountain from the village. You can ask the local some questions and they will answer you nicely. There's always meaning on the small traditional houses in the middle of the village. It symbolizes how many ethnics are there. One ethnic will have two small houses which is one woman and one woman and also there's different between woman and man from the top of the roof. Further, to build those small houses needs ages because there's ritual for that and it takes a lot of water buffalo. That's the information that I get from the local.

Lovely place with lovely view and people. The village is so lively. All houses sell woven fabric with affordable prices. We can browse all places but please show some respect.

Bena is a traditional village, but less authentic than Belaraghi, best of that area. Here seems that locals are waiting for travellers.
