The good: clean sheets. Hot water in the upstairs rooms.nnThe bad, the awful and the terrible: DEFINITELY rats in the ceiling, could hear them running up and down. Very expensive for what you get (350,000 per night). Called to book a room - the process was painful. Very little English spoken. Had to hand the phone to Indonesian staff at the cafe I was in - and even she struggled to communicate with the front desk in Bahasa. The bathroom - old and dilapidated. The room - unloved and crumbling. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. The lonely planet isn’t always right.

Nice new hotel with warm water shower and clean rooms! laundry worked well and breakfast (banana pancakes or omelett) were tasty! Also the stuff was polite, english speaking and kind!

Nice stylish place with hot water shower (only upstair rooms), which looked ruined - but it worked! My first hot shower in all midrange hotels in Flores. Parking in open courtyard.nSufficient english and friendly. Central, but relatively calm. At 5.30 am they pop up.

Quiet Hotel near the center of Bajawa. Ground floor rooms are simple, no hot water, no AC (you don't need one as it is quite chilly at night). Upper floor ones do have hot water and a balcony with nice view of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast is included. Just a little rundown, but ok for a night or two.
