Ricky is amazing. He built everything here himself. It is a simple place but he has created an amazing environment. Be sure to eat the dinner he offers, and the fresh fruits from his yard

I stayed there almost 2 years ago, and I’ve decided to speak just now, about the very uncomfortable massage methode of Ricky Cowboy. As a girl travelling alone, I have to warn you that if you stay there, you take the risk to get a very inappropriate massage of Ricky and if it stays in your mind few years later, like me, it means that it is not normal. As nice and generous that Ricky is, he is trying very hard with the girls staying there, and like the comment of Caroline Millon (and I am feeling reassured when I read this comment, I don’t feel alone anymore), he made me feel very uncomfortable. Started to massage me and saying that I am very tend because of the scooter, and that he is «very talented » in « therapeutic massages ». He slowly starts to give me a massage without asking me. But like every other stories, you are alone, by yourself, scared and feeling so uncomfortable that you literally can’t say anything. After he massaged my back, he said that he needed to do the front side cause his hand were « itchy  » I said no, then he said that he really needed to do it because I needed to be fixed. I said no, few times, he insisted, until I let go and said : « ok, but don’t go up to my breast ». Guess what, very slowly his hands went up to my breast until I couldn't keep up and said : « ok finish it’s enough » and then I left for the beach the afternoon.nIn the evening, I had nowhere else to stay in the little village of Moni. I was so scared that I invented a boyfriend and talked to Ricky about all the plans of mariage I had with my boyfriend, I couldn’t sleep at night.nIf I am writing this here, it’s to warn the other girls travelling by them self alone. Ricky is a creep, it needed to be told.

This is a very special place in Flores. If you are looking for adventure and local experience this is your place. Only 10min walking away from Koka beach, Ricky's place is really beautiful and artsy. Pretty basic but comfortable and cheap.nHe is an awesome man, really friendly, generous and full of energy. He will make sure you have an unforgettable experience. My trip in Flores couldn't have ended in a better way. Thank you so much Ricky, don't ever change and keep being special cowboy!

We arrived at Koka Beach quite late and wanted to check out the properties at the beach. There was no one except some locals. The showed us the rooms there and asked 350 for one night.. So we decided to go back and check out Ricky’s place. Ricky is a really great cowboy and extremely friendly. As my girlfriend didn’t feel really well he provided her with some magical recipes and it actually worked! I had some nice dinner together with Ricky and enjoyed his stories about his life and other notable guest who visited his place. The place is really basic but that also has its charm. Don’t hesitate to go there if you are in the area as it is an experience you will never forget. Take care Cowboy!
