The SAMFS is a great place to work. It's not just a job, but a lifetime love, which extends into a fulfilling career.nThe people are like minded and have public safety in the forefront of their minds.nIt is the unexpected that keeps the job exciting. You never know what the next minute brings, and that unknown is what is different about being a firefighter. There are dangers at every job we attend but risks are inherit in this occupation.nYou need to be a special kind of person to take on and cherish this chance to serve the public in such a gratifying way.
