Ashland Addison Florist - Lakeview

I was happy to work with Adrian at the Lakeview Chicago Store -- I explained to him that I had grown up in the neighborhood long ago, and wanted to give our business to support a local florist directly -- NOT using FTD nor 1-800-Flowers. Adrian did an excellent job of taking my order for two separate sympathy deliveries, and he was very patient as I dictated our condolence messages. He assured me that the bouquets would be beautiful and bountiful. I requested a photo and received a nice example of each arrangement in my email. But the recipient sent their own pictures in their thank you email, and I must say -- the arrangements were much bigger and better than expected.nnTHANK YOU for doing such an excellent job! My only constructive feedback would be to maybe include a point of reference in the example photo -- maybe something that is standard size, like an official baseball? I thought that their company pictures looked nice, but when I saw the recipient's photo on their dining room table, I was happily surprised and impressed. Received a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Loved the variety of flowers. I live in a high rise and the delivery person knew to call after the drop off otherwise I may not have been notified.

Kudos to the folks at Ashland Addison who are really attentive to detail and old fashioned customer service. The vase in a previous order was unique and a keeper. The hospital had moved my wife to a different room, but somehow Ashland was aware of the situation and got the flowers to her by mid morning. In a previous order the flowers held up nicely even after my wife returned home. Sure was nice for my wife to have flowers at the hospital & home.

If you need to order funeral flowers, this is the place. I ordered the morning of the funeral and they had them done and delivered in 3 hours. They know all of the funeral homes in the area and did a beautiful job. I highly recommend them.
