Good place to spend a few hours. I'm an avid animal lover, and I spent about 3 hours there. I reckon it would take an average of 2 hours for most people.nnHaving been to several other aquariums around the world such as Singapore and Bangkok, I'm not particularly impressed by this one. There's a great variety of animals, but in regards to the tanks' cleanliness and beauty (in terms of tank setup and maintenance, variety and colour saturation of corals and fish), it's nowhere close to that of S.E.A Aquarium Singapore.nnStill, this is a great place to bring the family, educate kids and adults alike, and spot some amazing animals that live in or around oceans. Penguins, manatee, sharks, stingrays, sea turtles, jellyfish, starfish (petting corner), octopus and more.

The aquarium is unique. Quite educational for the family. A must visit for the kids if you are in Sydney. The penguins were particularly interesting. BTW if you are concerned about animal captivity, it may help you to know that they look well cared for. However, if you think you are true animal lover, just pay the entry fee, as a donation and have a coffee outside.

Must go place. My little one elated. He was amazed to see the stingrays. Grandparents enjoyed the day out too.nnIf you have kids do not miss out on this one. The hygiene is well taken care of during corona times.

We had an amazing experience here, the only issues I had was the other parents/carers/adults not taking social distancing as serious. There were plenty of signs requesting social distancing, but they didn't follow through. Maybe Sea Life Sydney Aquarium should lower the numbers of people entering to protect the vulnerable.

Love that you have to book a time slot and be temperature checked. Its actually a much more enjoyable experience to have it less crowded. Also great to see the virtual reality experience being thoroughly cleaned between each user.
