We arranged to hike to see the Rafflesia flower with Life 'n' Easy and it was a fantastic experience. They keep a very accurate track of when the flowers are blooming and update it on their website frequently. They contacted the local guide and let us know how deep in the flower could be so that we could anticipate how much of a hike it could be and provided a great driver and vehicle. We got lucky and there were actually two Rafflesia blooming when we visited and it was about a 1.5 hour hike round trip to see them. It was a mind blowing experience to see those giant flower blooming in the jungle!

A very nice tour through the Mingkabau area. Putra was our guide and we owe him a lot of thanks for his excellent explanation, his company and his calm way of driving. The car was spacious and in good condition.
