Prabumulih Station (PBM) is a large class C train station located in Prabumulih City, South Sumatra. The station, which is located at an altitude of +43 m (previously +36 m), is included in the Regional Division III Palembang. This station is located on the railroad meeting line from the direction of Tanjungkarang in Bandar Lampung and Lubuklinggau with Kertapati in Palembang and is the easternmost station in Prabumulih City.nnPrior to 1985, this station had nine railway lines, but currently there are only four of them. Since the operation of the Kertapati-Prabumulih double line since April 25 2018, the layout of this station has been changed so that line 1 becomes a straight line from and towards Kertapati as well as the direction of Prabumulih Baru X6-Lubuklinggau, while line 2 is a straight line in the direction of Prabumulih Baru X5-Tanjungkarang.nnUniquely, the line from the direction of Kertapati ends in a dead end (badug), so that in order for the train to enter the station, the line is connected with a wesel to the left. To the southeast of the station there is a mechanical depot. The lines at this station are not designed for a coal railway crossing, so the train only stops for a moment and the crossing activities are carried out at two Prabumulih Baru Stations (X5 and X6).
