Lafayette KOA Holiday

This was not our planned stop. We had planned to stop further down the road near Lake Charles, but that KOA was damaged during Hurricane Delta. Fortunately, this one had space. Sites were nice, level, with some shade. Had planned to visit the area, but the nearby attractions were still closed as a result of the virus.

Nice campground on a large pond. Concrete pull thru pad was nice and level. Very convenient to I-10. Only stayed one night, but would come back.

Absolutely beautiful, right off the interstate and yet it seems in the woods. Very busy around the water with tons of back in sites, paddle boat rentals, nice pool. Lots of pull thru sites. Area remote but close to Lafayette, would stay again

Pros: Friendly staff, beautiful park, big sites, game room, convenient, felt safennCons: Overpriced. Also, the highway noise kept us up most night and we have a fan noise in our camper that usually drowns out most outside noise :(

It's a beautiful park. Lots of stuff to do and the park is super close to everything. Paved roads and lots of space. The only downfall is the highway noise. It's right off the highway. There is also a train that goes by.
