Yam Yam Restaurant Yogyakarta

This place has decent Thai food but no AC. I worked up a sweat while eating here and sadly not from any kind of spicy food.nnI had the chicken pad Thai, mozzarella sticks, coconut water (not served in the shell), and calamari. The pad Thai could use a couple more vegetables and a bit more flavor. The mozzarella sticks are wrapped in wonton paper and fried. My toddler loved them. The coconut and calamari were good (I thought the serving size of the calamari was a bit small).nnThe staff was very friendly and welcoming. I wish they had a baby chair.nnThis was one of the more expensive meals that I had in Yogyakarta.

For me and my husband this was place with the best food in Yogyakarta which we visited during our 5 day visit. Nice tableware, meal presentation, service and air conditioning. And this is something that was often missing in other restaurants. An additional plus for ice cubes from mineral water! Definitely recommend.

The food was mindlowing and thinking about the food is making my mouth water right now. the menu is amazing. Service is so good and the food just tops it all up! We went there thrice when we were in yogyakarta.

Lovely food. Best meal I had in Indonesia. The personal is very humble and will give you a unforgettable tasting experience.

It can be tricky to find a place to eat in Indonesia as a vegan/vegetarian so we were happy to stop by at Yam Yam for lunch. Not only did they make sure they understood our dietary wishes but the food was also delicious. We choose the pad thai and green curry. It had an excellent level of spice and heat. We finished our meal with their vanilla cheesecake and lemon pie. You get good quantity for not much money! Nomnomud83dude4c
